Arrivals at the yard
On the device at the yard, check each truck load as it arrives, tick the codes you find, count the untagged pieces and save the intake.
What this is for
When a truck arrives, someone at the yard checks its logs against the load recorded in the forest. What is missing or extra shows at once, and the office sees it too. The check works without signal.
Check a load
- On the number pad, tap Yard. Arrivals at the yard opens, with the loads On the way and those Received.
- Tap the load. Its screen shows On the load: the codes the truck should carry.
- For each log you find, type its code under Code found on the truck and tap Tick. Or tap the codes in the list as you find them. Tick all ticks every one.
- Untagged pieces: choose Counted and type how many arrived, or leave it Not counted.
- Check Received by and Arrived.
- Tap Save the intake.
When the load is not as loaded
The panel at the top keeps count while you tick:
- ✓ All arrived: every code is ticked and nothing extra was found.
- Not as loaded: it says how many codes are missing and how many are extra, and which.
A code you find that is not on the load is listed under Found, not on the load. To save a load that is not complete, tap Save it as it arrived. The office sees the difference.
Count again
A load already received can be checked again: open it and tap Count load … again. Saving replaces the intake with what is on the screen.
A load is not in the list
A load shows here only once the forest's device has sent it and this device has received it. Both need signal once. Ask the crew whether the load says Sent in their Truck loads, and check the dot on yours. See Sending and To fix.
