Truck loads

On the device, record what goes on a truck: the driver, the plate, each log's code, untagged material and the waybill.

What this is for

A load records which logs leave the forest on which truck. At the yard, the load is checked against what arrives. Loads work without signal.

Record a load

  1. On the number pad, tap Loads, then + New load. Or, on a tree's page, tap Put on a truck load: start a load with that tree's logs, or add them to one of today's loads.
  2. Driver: the last driver on this device is filled in. Not right? Tap Change, or + Not on the list to add one.
  3. Plate: the plate last used with this driver is filled in. To type another, use the keypad; it has letters.
  4. Codes on the logs: type the tree number in Code search. Its logs' codes show below it. Tap each code that goes on the truck.
  5. Tap Save the load.

The load shows under Today in Truck loads, with its state: Waiting to send, Sent, Received at the yard or Received with differences.

Codes with letters, and logs bucked elsewhere

  • A code with letters: tap ABC on the keypad.
  • A log whose bucking is on another device, or on paper: type the whole code with its dash, then tap Add. The app asks before adding a code it does not know: tap Add it.
  • To take a code off the load, tap it, then Take it off.

Untagged material

Pieces without a code, such as short ends, go on the load as untagged material.

  1. Tap + Untagged material.
  2. Add a + Measured row (length and diameter for each row) or a + Counted row (how many pieces).

Waybill photo

Where the lot asks for it, photograph the waybill: Photograph the waybill, and Another page for each further page. The lot says whether it is Required or Optional.

Change or delete a load

Tap the load in Truck loads to open it. Codes, untagged material and the note can change. Driver, plate and time stay as the load was first saved.

A load recorded by mistake: open it and tap Delete this load, then Delete. It stays in the load's history for the office.

Logs left behind

When only some of a tree's logs are on a truck, the tree's page says, for example, Put the other 2 logs on a truck. Tap it to add them to a load.

When a load is refused

The server may refuse a load, for example when a code is already on another load. The bell shows it under To fix. Its button opens the load with the codes to fix marked. See Sending and To fix.
