Settings on the device
Lock the app, change the PIN, choose the look, text size and language, set up the label printer, and log out of the device.
What this is for
Settings holds what belongs to the person and to the device: the lock, the PIN, the look, the label printer and the way out. To open it, tap your initials at the top of the screen.
Lock and PIN
- Lock, beside your name: locks the app at once. Every record stays on the device. Unlock with your PIN, even without signal.
- Change the PIN: type the current PIN, then the new one twice.
Never tell anyone your PIN. Forgot it? Ask a manager for a reset.
Display
- Look: Auto follows the device (dark at night, light by day), Dark, Light, or Sunlight: black on white with heavier type, for reading in bright sun.
- Text size: Normal, Large or Larger.
- Language: English or Türkçe.
These apply to the device, for everyone who uses it.
The rest of the list
- Label printer: how the saw's board labels are printed: Share sheet (to a printing app for the label printer) or No printer. See At the saw.
- Sending: the same screen as the dot at the top. See Sending and To fix.
- Help: this help centre, in the browser.
- Show the welcome again: the first-run pages, and the choice of look.
- Open the console: for owners, managers and auditors, the office console in the device's browser, signed in as you. Confirm with your PIN. It needs signal.
- Contact support: a mail to support, naming your organization and the app's version.
- Delete my account: removes your name, username and email address from your account. The records you made stay.
- Advanced: for support. Nothing there is needed for work.
Log out
Log out works only when everything is sent. The device then forgets the account and everything of it on the device. Type your username to confirm. Next time, sign in with your password.
Before you hand a device to someone else, log out. A lost or stolen device is removed from the console instead: see Set up a device.
